The FSVP, or Foreign Supplier Verification Program, is a requirement under the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). It mandates that importers of food products into the United States perform certain risk-based activities to ensure that the food they import is produced in a manner that meets U.S. safety standards.
